First Annual Chateaugay Arts & Film Festival (Day 2)
June 16, 2012: At Day 2 of the Festival, authors Jack Bilow and Lawrence P. Gooley will be on site to discuss their books. Lawrence P. Gooley is known for Lyon Mountain: The Tragedy of a Mining Town (2004) and Oliver's War: An Adirondack Rebel Battles the Rockefeller Fortune (2007). Art pieces by local artists will be on display for purchase throughout the town hall, each following this year's theme: Local & Regional History. Food and beverages will be available at the Rotary concession stand. NOTE: The art show portion of the festival is free and open to the public. Tickets for the film festival are available for purchase at: Creative Home Elements and IBC in Malone, Alix's Hardware in Chateaugay, and Dick's Country store in Churubusco. Advance purchase for both nights is $12, or $7 for one showing. General admission at the door is $14 for both nights and $8 for one showing.
