Award-winning author Lawrence P. Gooley will present “Escapes, Tortures, and Executions: The Brutal History of Clinton Prison at Dannemora,” a PowerPoint presentation based on Gooley’s books, Escape from Dannemora: 170 Years of Escapes, Tortures, and Infamous Inmates at New York’s Most Notorious Prison and Dannemora’s Death House: The Crimes and Fates of 41 Killers Sentenced to Die in Clinton Prison’s Electric Chair. Following the presentation, the author will be available for questions and discussion, and his books will be available for signing and sale.
