August 4: Bloated Toe Publishing of Peru, N.Y., recently released two new books by award-winning author Lawrence Gooley. 25 Diabolical Adirondack Murders: The Twisted, Fiendish Deeds of North Country Killers covers the complete story of notable homicides committed across the region. Included are multiple crimes involving 33 victims across nine northern counties.

Sun Community News, July 25, 2012—Hudson River Trading Co. to host author, music event Aug. 4: More than 20 award-winning authors (including Lawrence Gooley, author of Terror in the Adirondacks and author/publisher of many more books on local history) and artists from all over the Adirondacks and northern New York region will sign their books and CDs under the tents in front of the store.

First Annual Chateaugay Arts & Film Festival (Day 2)
At Day 2 of the Festival, authors Jack Bilow and Lawrence P. Gooley will be on site to discuss their books. Lawrence P. Gooley is known for Lyon Mountain: The Tragedy of a Mining Town (2004) and Oliver’s War: An Adirondack Rebel Battles the Rockefeller Fortune (2007). Art pieces by local artists will be on display for purchase throughout the town hall.
